Data collected through the contact form

When you submit the contact form on the homepage, the following data is collected: your name, phone number and email address, and the content of your message. This data is used solely to respond to your inquiry. It is not shared with third parties, not used for marketing and not retained beyond 90 days from the date of receipt unless an ongoing exchange requires it.

Server logs

The web server logs each HTTP request with the requesting IP address, the requested URL, the HTTP response code, the referring URL and the browser user-agent string. These logs are kept for 30 days for security and diagnostic purposes and are then permanently deleted. They are not linked to any individual identity.

Cookies and localStorage

CedarByLane does not set tracking cookies. The cookie-consent banner uses the browser's localStorage API — not a cookie — to remember your Accept or Reject choice. This preference is stored only in your own browser and is never transmitted to the server.

Images on this resource are served directly from Wikimedia Commons (upload.wikimedia.org). When your browser loads these images, Wikimedia's servers receive your IP address according to the Wikimedia Foundation privacy policy. No other external services (analytics, advertising networks or CDNs) are loaded by this resource.
